OFFICIAL RULES

Odds depend on number of entries received. US residents only, age 13 or older. Unlimited entries per person. Two prizes will be awarded (approximate prize value $50 each) by random drawing. Sponsor: See’s Candy Shops, Inc., 345 Schwerin Street, San Francisco 94134. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States (including Puerto Rico but excluding Guam and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions not otherwise mentioned herein) who are 13 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Those considered to be a minor in their legal jurisdiction of residency (a “minor”) must obtain their parent’s or legal guardian’s consent before participation in this Sweepstakes, and any and all statements below regarding an entrant’s or winner’s agreement to, acceptance or acknowledgment of, these legal terms and conditions mean the agreement, acceptance or acknowledgment of the entrant’s or winner’s parent or legal guardian.

‌Selection of Winner

Two potential winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in a random drawing conducted by See’s Candy Shops, Inc. and will be notified via Twitter direct message. Potential winners must have their Twitter privacy setting set to allow See’s Candy Shops, Inc. to send a direct message. Notification will include See’s Candy Shops, Inc. contact information and the potential winner must contact See’s Candy Shop, Inc. within five (5) days of the prize notification to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the prize. Potential winners (and, if a potential winner is a minor, the potential winner’s parent or legal guardian) will be required to provide See’s Candy Shops, Inc. with his or her full name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and/or date of birth, and may also be required to complete, sign, and return an affidavit/declaration of eligibility and liability/ publicity release. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Prizes

Two (2) winners will be awarded with a prize with an approximate prize value of $50 per prize. Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable, cannot be combined with any other special offer or promotion and must be accepted as awarded. Prize may not be exchanged for cash value or substituted, except that See’s Candy Shops, Inc. reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute with either the cash value of a prize, or a prize of equal or greater value. Prize is provided “AS-IS” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, and See’s Candy Shops, Inc. hereby disclaims all such warranties, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Applicable federal, state, or local taxes and any other costs or expenses associated with the prizes or the use or redemption thereof is the sole responsibility of the winner. If an eligible minor is confirmed as a winner, the prize will be awarded in the name of that minor’s parent or legal guardian. The prize will be awarded, and will be delivered to the confirmed winner to a valid U.S. address within three (3) weeks of the determination of the winner.

‌By participating, each entrant (and, if entrant is a minor, entrant’s parent or legal guardian) agrees to comply with these Official Rules and agrees that See’s Candy Shops, Inc. is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the Sweepstakes. See’s Candy Shops, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of, the web site or any technical failure or malfunction, or any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property.

‌By accepting a prize in this Sweepstakes, the winners (and, if winner is a minor, winner’s parent or legal guardian) grants to See’s Candy Shops, Inc., where permitted by law, the right to use and publish (worldwide and via the Internet) his/her name, city and state of residence, submission (including Twitter username), portrait, image, picture, voice, likeness and comments for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without notification, review or approval, and without additional consideration.

‌‌Except as provided in these Official Rules relating to the use of the Submissions and of certain winner information and the availability of the submissions for viewing by the general public online, the submissions and personal information (if any) collected from each entrant with respect to the Sweepstakes will be used by See’s Candy Shops, Inc. for the purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes and as otherwise permitted by See’s Candy Shops, Inc.’s privacy policy.

‌Governing Law/Jurisdiction

ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS.
