171 Years Young! Mary See’s Birthday Beginnings

Before See’s Candies, there was simply Mary See: a homemade candy maker with a talent for creating irresistible chocolate and confections from scratch. Perfectly enough, her son Charles had a sweet dream of launching his own candy company in California, using his mother’s irresistible recipes to delight customers. It would be the start of something delicious.

Over 100 years later, Mary’s pride in quality is still the heart and soul of See's Candies. In keeping with our tasty tradition, we continue to use only the highest quality ingredients, hand-pack our boxed assortments and hand-decorate special seasonal items.
