Almond Royal® Cookies

  • 1 lb. butter softened (4 cubes)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar (granulated)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
  • 2 cups medium brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 lb. See’s Almond Royal®
  • 6 1/2 cups flour
Mix all of the above ingredients except the See’s Almond Royals. Roll dough into balls and bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. While cookies are still warm, push 1/2 of an Almond Royal on top of each cookie. Makes 8 dozen cookies.

Alternate method: Cut up See’s Almond Royals and add to the cookie dough. Drop dough by teaspoon onto cookie sheet and bake as above. Cookies will be slightly chewy.
