Non-Retail Job Opportunities

Direct Marketing Manager

Location: Carson (between Los Angeles and Orange Counties), California

To effectively create, manage, execute and report on See’s Direct Marketing activities, including catalog, email, online, and SEO/PPC, and mailings. Analyze and report traffic and sales from FSI/ADVO drops, and similar affiliate direct marketing initiatives.  Responsible for execution of approved marketing initiatives based on assigned business goals and ROI targets; and achievement of assigned marketing goals.
  
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
 
·    Develop, manage and supervise execution of all active and planned Direct Marketing activities across See’s Mail Order and QD/FR business channels.  Manages direct marketing staff, including training, development and performance management.
 
·    Create an integrated, solution oriented marketing plan and calendar covering Mail Order and direct QD/FR sales channels.
 
·    Manage Direct Marketing vendor relationships including acting as primary contact for day-to-day activities, projects, work orders, contract, billing and budget responsibilities.
 
·    Responsible for the full cycle of all Direct Marketing activities including email marketing, natural and paid  search, affiliate marketing, catalog development and circulation planning, mailings, and other direct marketing initiatives.
·    Advise executive management of possible Direct Marketing opportunities
·    Develop Direct Marketing campaigns in alignment with Mail Order and QD marketing activities and business goals assigned to the Direct Marketing group, assuring a return on investment that is consistent with specified guidelines
·    Generate new business, and retain existing business in a cost effective manner 
·    Provide detailed and executive level reporting on Direct Marketing activities including results of each campaign, goal attainment, and return on investment as needed (monthly/quarterly/annually).
·       Develop and manage annual Direct Marketing budget.  Work within established guidelines to achieve assigned goals.   
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
·    Five years Direct Marketing management experience including email/ecommerce, catalogs, direct mail, with full P & L responsibility.

·    Proven ability to increase sales and profit; demonstrated analytic, problem solving and decision making skills.
·    Proven strategic leadership skills, including development and retention of a professional staff to support direct marketing activities.
·    Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
·       Business or Marketing degree required; MBA preferred.


Account Executive

Location: Lynwood (Seattle area), Washington

We are looking for an Account Executive at our Lynwood, Washington Area territory. The territory represents the Northwestern part of the state of Washington, from Lynwood up to Bellingham, and as far East as Spokane. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, personable individual to develop and maintain See's Quantity Discount market base through the sale of products and programs for corporate gift giving, fund raising, promotional purposes and sales incentives. The ideal candidate should be able to serve as a liaison to potential and existing customers to increase sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
·    Increasing new business and retention of existing business.

·    Developing and implementing territory sales plans to achieve targeted sales goals.

·    Making sales presentations to prospective customers for See's products and programs for fund raisers and corporate sales.
 
·    Acquiring and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of See's products, programs, and corresponding marketing and support materials for all Quantity Discount, Retail and Mail order programs and products.
 
·    Coordinating sales efforts for the territory in conjunction with the Customer Service Telephone Supervisor.
 
·    Maintaining positive working relationships with See's customer Service Bureau, quantity Discount Shop and Product Distribution staff to ensure customer's satisfaction.
 
·    Completing administrative paperwork to report lead generating and sales results; including daily, weekly and monthly reports. 
 
·    Participation in community events, trade shows, and public relations activities and other special projects as directed by the Field Sales Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
 
·    At least five years experience in outside sales direct to corporate/business and/or fund raising customers.
·    Demonstrated success in achieving sales objectives, and growth projections in an outside sales environment.
·    Articulate, competitive and high energy:  position requires multiple customer/prospect calls in the field per day.
·    Proven success with incentive based compensation plans.
·    Experience with coordinating Trade Show logistics preferred.
·       Bachelor degree preferred.
