Web Development Manager
Location: Carson (between Los Angeles and Orange Counties), California

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for the technical and operational management of See’s e-Commerce and intranet systems.
This is a hands-on role and we are looking for someone with a solid background in eCommerce and ColdFusion.
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
1. Manage See’s eCommerce and intranet systems throughout its lifecycle including planning, design, development, quality assurance, roll-out, and post live technical analysis.
2. Work with a cross-functional team to translate business requirements into functional specifications for the programming group and/or external vendor.
3. Ensure See’s eCommerce platform is designed for high availability, performance and security including load testing and security scanning.
4. Responsible for maintaining 24x7 ecommerce monitoring and immediate response to issues that affect revenue or customer service.
5. Responsible for maintaining high quality on-going support for web customer issues requiring a technical response.
6. Staff development and management of web developers.
7. Work with business management to secure resources needed to accomplish assigned project goals. Defines roles and responsibilities, including MIS programming and operations staff, business involvement, contractors, consultants and vendors.
8. Manages cross-departmental web development team, individual contributors, technical vendors and project schedules including assignment of individual responsibilities, regular status meetings, and coaching to attain project goals.
9. Provides MIS and business management with regular status updates including changes of significant consequence to the scope or schedule.
10. Provides training and documentation as required.
11. Participate in coding, testing and implementation as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least five years experience as a hands-on application development team lead.
2. Successful management of mid-volume ecommerce platform.
3. Successfully completed one or more web ecommerce projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints, resources, and equipment including hardware and software.
4. Five years experience with web interface design, web architecture design, ColdFusion, Oracle database, SQL database, HTML, CSS, web services, digital certificates, and domain registration required. Experience with load testing tools a plus.
5. Demonstrated ability to consult internally and recommend systems solutions. Proven interpersonal skills and excellent written communication skills are required.
6. B.S. Degree in Business or Information Systems Management and preferred.
